Aggie Video

I apologize, this video isn't totally appropriate, just ignore the few bad words in it and all the insignia, but it is rather funny.  Found it on a friend of Page's blog...

Ava

Ava is really trying to move now.  She can scoot across the floor on her back.  I sat her down on the floor in our room the other day.  She started off by the lion toy.

And wound up by the trash can.
I got a baby food maker for Christmas.  These are some sweet potatoes I made.

And here is Ava eating the sweet potatoes!

I also made a video that shows some things Ava does during her day.  It's not great, but it's kinda cute.  I'm not posting videos to the blog anymore, too much trouble.  You can find it at youtube.  Here's the link:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLAcaBhNjeA

Our House

Okay, so I am fed up with blogger!  I have tried and tried and tried to publish the little slideshow I made of our new house, but it doesn't work.  So, I've published it with youtube.  I couldn't use the music I wanted to, though, b/c it was copyrighted.  So when you view the video, you need to sing "I Love My Rancho Grande" by Freddy Fender.  It really pulls the whole thing together.  Micah and I are suckers for fixer uppers, and you can see that with this house.  It still has some work to be done to it, but its coming together and we really like it!  So click on the link below or paste it in your address bar to see our home!

What's Going On?

Well, it's been awhile since I've blogged, so I figured I better catch up!  I don't have any pictures or videos to post right now, but I am working on two videos...Our House and Ava's Day.  Look for them on the blog soon.  Micah and I have been busy working on the house.  It is very frustrating because we still don't have all of our stuff, like some bookshelves and our desk for the office, so we can't put everything up yet.  We've got some stuff we just can't decide where it goes, so it just sits in the floor.  And when there's some stuff piled in the floor, it's very easy to just pile some more on!  Micah worked on the garage yesterday and today, though.  He got some shelves built and my car is now parked in our nice, clean, organized garage!  Did I help?  Not really.  In fact I left Ava with him today while I went to a movie with some new friends.  Thanks, Micah!  We are getting things taken care of slowly but surely.  My goal is to really work on the house this week.  We will see how that works out!  I've joined the Corsicana YMCA.  A lot of young moms go there in the mornings and I'm enjoying it so far.  They have a fantastic nursery and Ava likes going and being around other kids.  I think she is going to be the social one in our family...don't know where that comes from...definitely not me!  That's all I have to report for now.  If I get the house clean, I'll put some pics up!

5 Months Old

Ava is now 5 months old.  She is growing and changing every day and learning many new things.  She rolls over from her back to her tummy very well, but seems to have forgotten how to roll over to her back.  So she just lays on her tummy and fusses until someone turns her back over.  She talks and laughs all the time, and has finally got on some sort of schedule.  She sleeps well at night, and has started eating well, too.  She is now eating rice cereal every day and we have tried sweet potatoes and she seems to like them.  We are going to try another vegetable today.  I got a baby food maker for Christmas and once I figure out what Ava likes and isn't allergic to, I am going to start making her some homemade stuff.  Right now we are in the experimental stage still.  Ava's picture is with Kaden who came to visit.  She is really starting to like other kids.  She just loved looking at Kaden and smiled constantly at him, whether he was smiling, laughing, crying, eating, whatever.  Kaden is holding up 5 fingers for 5 months for Ava.  It took us a while to get this picture!

Seven Christmases

So, this year Christmas was a week long event for us.  We had seven different Christmases!  We had lots of fun and enjoyed it all, but were glad to be home.  Ava was so good.  She was passed around for days and slept a lot in the car, but she did great and slept well once we got home.  Here is a list of our Christmas trips...

1)Drown Christmas - Emory
2)Our Christmas - Corsicana
3)Zant Christmas - Paris
4)Micah's Parent's Christmas - Paris
5)My Parent's Christmas - Lone Oak
6)Grandmama and Papa's Christmas - Garland
7)Fry Christmas - Paris

And now we are home and I will try and catch up on some blogging.  I have pictures below, though not many because I am not good at thinking about taking pictures.  They aren't in order, because I'm too lazy to get them that way!
